Warning. I am grouchy.
I am so blahed out. I am not just in a blogging slump but a January slump. I barely made it out of my jammies today. I shuffled around. Made a list of housework. Stared at the list. Shuffled around some more.
I did get everything done on the list but it took me all day. I noticed a grey hair sticking straight out of my head. Nice. I pulled it out and stared at it then threw it in the garbage. Shuffled around some more in bathrobe and slippers. (Dressed underneath bathrobe but my house is cold and I am too cheap thrifty to turn on the heat.)
To add to the excitement of the day I am making eggs and hash browns for supper. That is it.
And another thing. Flylady is pissing me off! I don't want to shine my sink and quit sending me so many damn e mails!

I get like that too...it's best just to stay in your pj's and avoid the public during those times.
But why don't you want to shine your sink?
What else are these january sundays for? Dont feel guilty for having a slob day. Its called recharging your batteries.
I had to cancel my flylady reminders. I just cant stay on top of that much housework and have a life too!. I do manage to keep my sink shiney though! But everything else is optional depending on my mood and energy level!
I quit flylady because I couldn't handle all the junk in my inbox. I'm all pro having a clean and organized house but there are limits! I don't want to feel guilty in my own house for taking some time to relax.
PS - I tagged you with a meme over at my place. It's short but cute, maybe just what you need to pull you out of your slump! It worked wonders for me.
ROFL about Flylady.
Hey, somedays are just Oscar the Grouch kinda days. :p
Flylady is very annoying and she alone can make anyone grouchy!
What I like to do on my grouchy days is to curl up with a book, coffee and my cat on my lap.
Go back to bed!!
Who is flylady? Never mind, I just read down your comments.
Feel better. This has been a grouchy full moon, so you are right in with all of us!!
Sorry you are feeling grumpy. When I get like that I usually just shine my sink. Cheers me up every time, tee,hee..
i am *so* in a january slump too - i need some sun, i need a tan, i need longer days, i need a vacation, i need something to look forward to! argh!! (that felt good - thank you barbara lol)
I have those days except I don't actually get anything done but four or five movies on the couch.
When I'm lazy and tired, I am horizontal and there ain't no gettin me up.
Hope you start to feel AWAKE!
Flylady can kiss my butt! I get her reminders too, here at WORK! What the heck am I supposed to do about the wreck that is my house when I only spend what seems like a couple of hours a day there. Awake, at least!
Who is flylady? And um is it bad to have bathrobe days or naked days?
Cuz I have them all the time
When it comes to pulling out the grey hair I don't even want to look so there is no staring at those. But I am totally cracking up with this post! I hope you feel better now!
I am so with you on this one (as I stare at that dern Christmas tree that refuses to come down on it's own.)
January blahs, nothing worse, except maybe February blahs.
LOL! I remember when I used to pluck my gray hairs out. That's when they were few and far between. Now there are so many of them I don't bother! ;o)
I hope you feel better. :)
I love January. I love winter. I even prefer being chilly to being hot. I love days when I don't have to get dressed. I have this warm cozy flannel robe that I just love to hangout in.
Don't fight it, go with the flow. You can be productive another day!!
Other than maybe Wanda, I'm not sure I know anyone who likes much of January. I heard recently that January 23rd is officially dubbed the most depressing day of the year. I vote we just skip it altogether.
I feel like that some day. Cabin fever. I can't wait for spring and summer.
