Don’t let it consume you. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, my sister went completely into mourning, after a week of this, my mother called her and said, "Annette, I'm not dead, yet. I will beat this. Now get on with your life."
Four months after finishing chemo, my mother's cancer came back. She is now on her last chance treatment – if this doesn’t work, there is nothing left for her.
