Barbara...I think the world needs a whole lot more "free hugs"...what a smile producing video. Phooey on those that tried to stop it!
I like that guy - he's got an interesting story. And i know Pitt St Mall very well - i used to walk down there everyday.

Today's world needs it's people to come together and be closer to one another. What harm is there in giving someone a hug? A bad day could be turned into a good one or a life could even be changed all because someone showed they cared for just a moment. It doesn't cost anything nor does it hurt anyone. I've had and given my share of them and believe me there have been times when I've needed one. It's not silly and it really does feel good, so go ahead, try it. Remember, love makes the world go round.

I think people are desperate for connection and human contact in their lives. This video never fails tomove me.

My very first thought was, "Is this the 70's?" I looked longer. It isn't. My second thought was, "Is he only going for pretty girls? Or a particular age?"" I was looking for his 'perversion. He seemed sincere. My third thought was, "This isn't in the U.S." I checked. It's in Australia.
By now people have gotten with it and are joining the "hugger" and I started smiling, then laughing at the enthusiasm. By now, I sort of wish I were there with them. Then the cops. Ah, yes!! Civilization and protecting our freedoms!!!
Really cool video! Provocative.
The world needs to come together a little bit. We'd all be nicer to each other if we could break down some of our walls. Nice video!
